Julianne Hough is celebrating her first birthday as a married woman, and to ring in her 29th year on earth, she stripped down to her birthday suit on a beautiful beach next to her new husband, NHL player Brooks Laich.
The couple said their “I do’s†on July 8 in Idaho, where Hough used to spend her summers growing up. After their fairy-tale wedding, the couple immediately jetted to La Digue Island, Seychelles, a tropical paradise in the Indian Ocean, for their honeymoon.
The newlyweds have been keeping their fans updated by sharing on Instagram photos of the love-filled trip.
“Wishing you the happiest of birthdays today! You are full of so much goodness and love, your joy is contagious, and I am so grateful that it’s me you choose to spend your life with!†Laich wrote, congratulating Hough. “You are the best part of every single day, happy birthday babe.â€
Fans also congratulated Hough for her birthday: “Happy birthday Jules! Hope you have a wonderful day and honeymoon with @brookslaich. You both are so sweet. Wish you the best. Kisses from Spain,†wrote a commenter.
Honeymooning definitely brings the best out in both of them. Hough radiates happiness and doesn’t even need to wear makeup to help her look flawless.
The sultry topless birthday photo of the Dancing With the Stars judge quickly racked up 150,553 likes and more than 1,000 comments. In the photo, Laich holds Hough’s hand as he follows her to paradise.
The couple were inspired by #Followmeto on Instagram, a project that began trending in 2013 and remains extremely popular.
Russia-based photographer Murad Osmann began following his wife, Natalia, all around the world and would snap a photo from his perspective showing just her back with him holding her extended hand against beautiful backdrops.
The Russian couple are the originators of the “Follow Me To†project. Osman now has more than 4 million followers on Instagram and his wife more than 1 million.
For almost four years, fans of the Russian couple have been able to follow them to different beautiful locations around the world. They have inspired many to take similar photos, including celebrities like Hough and Laich.
