Model, host, and Twitter sasspot Chrissy Teigen and her husband, singer-songwriterJohn Legend, have a sweet and loving relationship (at least from what we can see) that she often shares in Instagram and Twitter posts. And on Friday night she shared a doozy of a video on social media.
Teigen captioned the video, “I have been in love with watching ballet since I was young. I was given shoes from a performance John planned for me a few years ago. Tonight, I tried them on. IT IS HARD. Shout out to the ballerinas I love, and have loved, so so much.â€
We see her, with the help of Legend, attempting a spin on the shoes and then … watch for yourself (Warning: The famously potty-mouthed model drops a colorful curse word).
She’s wearing pointe shoes (or toe shoes), which are ballet shoes with the long, hard toes that allow dancers to transfer some of their weight to the shoe in two critical places, under the arch and around the toes. It is not easy, and it requires years of training, but we’d try it out too if we had a pair of pointe shoes handy. Likely with the same four letter result.
Teigen also shared the video on Twitter, and with Twitter being what it is, people had some opinions.
One person told her to be careful.
CHRISSY please be careful. It is so dangerous if you’re not trained to get hurt with pointe shoes and you are a treasure so

Another spoke for the germaphobe in all of us.
My favorite part of this tweet is the fact that you have no problem wearing someone else’s old shoes.

To end the whole roller coaster, Teigen chimed in with an on point reply.
I get it. I could have broken an ankle. You can stop telling me. If only you knew the other 1000 bone-breaking things I attempt daily.
