While Kim Kardashian West and Bella Hadid have been cutting a chic figure in ladylike corsets, Kendall Jenner and Zendaya have been busy borrowing from the boys. Jenner recently stepped out in business casual striped suiting, and now Zendaya is following her lead in a black-tie version: tuxedo tails. When the July Vogue cover star stepped out in London earlier today, she took the Old World piece to new heights with stylish aplomb.
It was only yesterday that Zendaya demonstrated how to wear sequins before dark, and now she’s applying that same principle to the tuxedo. This time, Zendaya suited up in a menswear-inspired jacket cut-away at the front and trailing at the back. She doubled down on the buttoned-up statement in a tunic-length shirt with romantic lace insets and sharp cuffs peeking out at the sleeve. The tailored fit of the jacket coupled with the free-flowing nature of the shirt balanced out a pair of cropped skinny jeans, while the distressed detail on her trousers moved the look into casual territory. She topped it off with a natty newsboy cap for good measure but amped up the polish with white pumps in a pointed toe.
